Magnifiscense Australian Boronia 3% Essential Oil in Jojoba
Botanical Classification: Native: Plantations of Boronia megastigma are cultivated in Tasmania. They are Indigenous to the coastal swamplands of south western Western Australia occurring from Perth to Albany. At this time there are no plantations grown in WA and very little indigenous plants are left in the area due over zealous picking for the cut flower industry and it’s difficulty in the seeds that exhibit dormancy which prevents germination in all but ideal conditions in the wild.
Transform your soul: Boronia potent aroma clears the mind and lifts the spirit. Boronia helps you to become gently connected with your emotions without the overwhelming confusion that can sometimes occur.
Boronia is a wonderfully happy oil for meditating with, it centres your essence and helps disperse unwanted thoughts from you mind, whilst gently grounding you.
Legend: Boronia were named after the Italian botanist Francesco Borone (1769-94). It takes millions and millions of these tiny flowers to make 1kg of essential oil and they only flower during spring, hence the oil being quite expensive.
Heal your body: To date research into therapeutic values has been limited due to this beautiful oil’s expense, but we have found that it has helped us with cases of insomnia by turning off the mind and cutting down on excessive inner dialogue.
Also for those who are accident prone and very in their heads and not very grounded.
Boronia is wonderful for balancing the thyroid, strengthening women’s uterus’ and bladder and kidneys.
PLEASE NOTE: there are approx 95 different types of Boronia. Magnifiscense uses the essential oil distilled from Boroania Megastigma (brown Boronia.) It has a very strong scent when it is at 100% solution, it is also extremely rare and expensive which is why we offer it as a 3% solution. With the 3% solution we gauge we can only detect the scent of the jojoba at 15-20%, the rest being the Boronia scent. Sometimes we find some people aren’t able to define the smell, yet others think it is quite strong. We aren’t able to explain this phenomenon in any rational way unfortunately.

Please note: that Essential Oils blended with Jojoba do not burn as well in candle vaporisers (unless they are very well heated). The water in the candle vaporiser needs to be quite hot and the newer open style burners just don’t heat the water/oil up enough, so if you are purchasing a new vaporiser make sure you get an enclosed one. We recommend electric diffuser that uses ultrasonic waves to diffuse the water with essential oils into tiny molecules, producing an elegant mist, releasing the essential oils in their 100% purest form and enhancing the effect of aromatherapy.
